As Spring Break visitors enjoy skiing in the Vail Valley, data from the Vail Board of Realtors shows that inventory is increasing in Eagle County.

In February, there were 222 active listings for single-family homes, a 6.7% year-over-year increase. There were 200 active listings for townhouses and condominiums in February, a 27.4% jump from the previous year. The year-over-year median sales price increased 32.7% to $2,355,000 for single-family homes and duplexes in the Vail Valley as it continues to be a desirable location with year-round outdoor recreation, access to wilderness, and world-class entertainment.

Top February sales by LIV SIR brokers include a five-bedroom Vail home represented by Matt Blake, which closed for $11.75 million. With a prime location in Glen Lyon that’s within walking distance to the Cascade chairlift, this newly constructed modern mountain residence boasts stunning views. The lower level provides a ski room with built-in lockers as well as a flex space and a four-car garage. An elevator, a bunk room, and an outdoor entertaining space with a fire pit, built-in grill, and hot tub round out the features of this mountain home.

Andie Ohde of LIV SIR represented the buyer for a Beaver Creek residence, which closed for $3.72 million. Located in the Enclave, this home has expansive views of the Beaver Creek golf course, a wood-burning fireplace for chilly evenings, and vaulted ceilings that provide lots of natural light. With a scenic location near Beaver Creek’s world-class slopes and hiking and biking trails, this home offers year-round recreation just outside your door. The new owners can enjoy neighborhood amenities, including a pool and tennis courts.

LIV SIR broker Mick Kelly represented a beautiful mountain retreat in the Divide at Cordillera, which closed for $3.535 million.
