Letter: Thanks for overwhelming support of Project Funway
The Education Foundation of Eagle County sincerely thanks our wonderful and generous community for its overwhelming support of Project Funway.
The turnout and generosity displayed warmed our hearts and exceeded our expectations. Thanks to your attendance and contributions, the Education Foundation of Eagle County can continue building the grassroots support necessary to give all 6,200+ Eagle County pre-K through 12th-grade students access to excellent teachers, welcoming schools, and supportive public school environments.
As the leading teacher retention effort in Eagle County, Education Foundation of Eagle County can continue advocating for proper education funding at the state and local levels.
The vibrant expression, passion, and generosity we witnessed at Project Funway reflects the heart of our community — a community that unites to nurture the creative spirit of our students and champions education. We are confident that no one left without feeling creatively inspired and understanding what we stand to lose without proper school funding. Putting the best educators in front of our kids is our mission’s core. Our schools directly reflect our community, and your overwhelming support on Saturday night showed us that you are with us every step of the way.
Once again, we extend our most profound appreciation to everyone who attended, donated, served, and volunteered their time and efforts to make Project Funway a resounding success. Your support is invaluable, and we look forward to continuing our journey towards a brighter future for education, hand in hand with you.

Additionally, it was an incredible honor to host Project Funway as the last big event at 47-year-old Dobson Arena before its remodel. The memories made will forever be tied to our community and this beloved venue’s history.
With gratitude,
