This Democrat-sponsored legislation to ban price gouging in grocery stores is no more than the Democrats’ “I feel your pain” message in aid of Phil Weiser’s run for governor.

Like your other readers, I, too, have seen food and other prices, such as auto and home insurance, increase sharply over the last several years.  

Joe Biden claimed that this was due to corporate “price gouging.” That claim was debunked as spurious.

Claims of price gouging by grocery chains are no more credible today than they were when Biden made them.
