Letter: Ongoing peaceful protests

It is estimated that 5.2 million demonstrated in the 1,400-plus nationwide Hands Off! protests on April 5 in opposition to President Trump’s agenda, policies and tariffs. Contributing to this number were nearly 9,000 individuals on the Colorado Western Slope, including Eagle County. Locals are invited to participate in ongoing peaceful grassroots protests taking place every Saturday at noon in Minturn, Avon, Edwards, Eagle and Gypsum and the next national event that is planned for April 19.
