March 2, 2024, was a very sad day. It was the day that Gabe was tragically taken from his loving spouse, Brooke (Rothstein), the Klein and Rothstein families and friends. 

I only knew Gabe for a brief period. But, every time I saw him he had a smile on his face that radiated a love for life and family, the outdoors and skiing. How many times have we said, let’s take one more run and not given it a second thought? Only God knows why he decided Gabe’s one more run would be his last run. 

I can only hope that this tragic loss will cause all of us who knew Gabe to look upon every run as our last run. To hold our loved ones close and make a positive difference every day. And, carry Gabe’s smiling face and love for life in our hearts and memories forever.
