Weekend snow totals: Spring storm dumps on Colorado’s ski areas, including 15 inches at one northern mountain

An end-of-March storm reminded Coloradans that spring is not yet here.
While many towns just saw rain or slushy snow accumulating, snow fell on the mountains, amounting to as much as 15 inches at Eldora Mountain and nearly a foot at Winter Park Resort.
Snow is expected to fall again on Tuesday, helping resorts as many already are experiencing late-season conditions.
Here are the snow totals between Saturday, March 29 and Monday, March 31, according to OpenSnow.com:
- Eldora Mountain, 15 inches
- Winter Park Resort, 11 inches
- Arapahoe Basin Ski Area, 9 inches
- Loveland Ski Area, 9 inches
- Keystone Resort, 8 inches
- Steamboat Ski Resort, 7 inches
- Copper Mountain Resort, 4 inches
- Breckenridge Ski Resort, 3 inches
- Vail Mountian, 3 inches
- Beaver Creek Resort, 2 inches
- Aspen Mountain Ski Resort, 1 inch
- Buttermilk Ski Area, 1 inch
- Granby Ranch, 1 inch
