MARSHALL – Mr. R. Bruce Beckwith, 89, died on 9, October 2024, after a long illness. He was a native of Portland, ME who resided in E. Texas, and was previously a long-term citizen of Vail CO where he served as the President of the Vail Rotary Club. He was a retired Senior Executive from C.R. Bard, where he led the medical device sales department. He served in the U.S. Anny as a Captain and was a helicopter pilot with assignments in the US and the Federal Republic of Germany. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Helen D. Beckwith, his children Tamsyn Beckwith, William “Bill” Beckwith, Margaret Carillion, James A. Beckwith, three stepchildren Karen McBride, Lisa Bennett, and Tony Czajkowski and 17 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be at 1pm Sat. Dec 7th at the Interfaith Chapel in Vail. Father Brooks will officiate the service.
