During the winter, Beaver Creek’s focus surrounds the slopes, but in the summertime, head to the plaza for a variety of live music and entertainment options at the Beaver Creek Rink Stage. Beaver Creek converts the ice rink into what it calls the Village Green in the summer. The ice is replaced by turf and games like ping pong, corn hole, frisbee and more to help entertain the whole family during the day while music fills the air in the afternoons and evenings.
Beaver Creek is excited to announce the lineup for its signature events, BC Unplugged and Colorado Showcase. BC Unplugged happens on Thursdays and features well-known bands such as Cracker, Cherry Poppin’ Daddies, Men Without Hats and more.

The Colorado Showcase happens on Saturdays and brings local and regional acts to the Village Green. Denver’s Hazel Miller & The Collective has been a crowd favorite for years and the Eagle-based Runaway Grooms is a recent addition to the musical landscape with its Allman Brothers and Grateful Dead sound. Round those bands out with The Long Run, an Eagles tribute band and Ten Years Gone, echoing the sounds of Led Zeppelin and you’ll be able to get the party started before dinnertime.
The timing of BC Unplugged and the Colorado Showcase is from 5-6:30 p.m. which is perfect after a day out hiking, biking or golfing and before going out to dinner.
“The timing of these shows is ideal for visitors or for locals who want to unwind after work,” said Carley Piper of Beaver Creek Resort Co. “Plus, a few dates align with performances at the Vilar Performing Arts Center, making it easy to enjoy a full night of music.”

The performances run from mid-June into September.
“We curate a diverse mix of well-known bands that appeal to a wide range of audiences and demographics,” Piper said. “Our goal is always to spark interest from the local community, Front Range and out-of-state visitors.”

Beaver Creek encourages concert goers to bring camp chairs or picnic blankets, and picnics are allowed as well, but no outside alcohol due to Beaver Creek’s liquor license.
“We will have a bar on-site and new this year, many local restaurants in Beaver Creek will offer take-out and picnic boxes, making it easy to grab dinner and enjoy the show,” Piper said.
