Highway 131 reopened in both direction

Colorado State Highway 131 shut down in both directions due to a motor vehicle incident, according to an Eagle County Alert at 9:20 a.m. Wednesday, but was open again by 9:45 a.m.

The closure was between Wolcott and State Bridge, near mile markers seven and nine.

Snow is falling in Eagle County and Colorado’s mountain Wednesday morning and is expected to continue into the afternoon.
