UPDATE: Interstate 70 reopens after vehicle fire in Vail

The right lane of Interstate 70 westbound at milemarker 172 is closed due to a vehicle fire in West Vail, according to EC Alerts.
The incident had closed the highway for nearly half an hour. The original alert was sent at approximately 5:11 p.m., nearly two minutes after another alert was sent announcing a closure due to a wildland fire at milemarker 178. That other incident has been resolved and both lanes were reopened.
